SOLD 40s Red Bow Dress SOLD

Beautiful, simple and elegant. Soft linen in a lovely cool red. High neck with stylish sharp collar, pretty bow feature at empire line. Dress tapers in to the waist for a flattering fit. Tailored and darted half length sleeves and rear metal zip. Design split at the back seam topped with a button. This dress has been adjusted - I’d say the hem has been raised and the sleeves shortened and these changes have been done very well. A later repair to a small part of the back seam could easily be improved upon. There are a couple of marks to the front bottom of the skirt, as shown.
