A gorgeous 70s free flowing maxi dress from Eastex is another garden party delight. Polyester chiffon outer layer with a wonderful swirling splodge-like pattern which on closer inspection reveals itself to be leaves and, possibly, trees. The colours are fabulous being varying shades of blue, mainly, powder and iris, interspersed with beige and dark grey. Full synthetic lining (except sleeves). A V neck gathers the chiffon fabric at the bust with a sewn in square diamante brooch. Front inverted “v” empire line and high waist seam at the back, the flared skirt falls beautifully and naturally. Sleeves are sheer, slightly puffed and fastened by small press studs at the cuff, unseen when worn. Rear nylon zip.
A divine dress that flatters the form wonderfully and is in terrific condition.
