A simply stunning cocktail dress with a beautiful sea green chiffon outer layer over a non-stretch pale blue acetate lining. The front upper bodice is embellished exquisitely with copious amounts of beading and sequins set out in a floral pattern. Faux pearls adorn the edges of the neck, arms and along the empire line, from which there dangles further loops of sequins. I can only see one pearl missing from this extravaganza which, given the amount of beading, is extraordinary. The chiffon gathers at the back and falls in gathered folds to the hem. Rear metal zip and shoulder straps to keep undergarments neatly in place. Dual label of “Melbray of London” and “Fenwick Newcastle and Bond St London”. An absolutely gorgeous dress that is in fantastic condition, given the fabric. There is some tiny spotting on the chiffon to the lower front but which is virtually impossible to see.
A superb and classy dress.
